Hybrid wispy lash extensions are one of the most popular extensions today. They give bold, thick lashes and alternate curls to create a dramatic, seductive, yet very soft. Hybrid wispy lash extensions are also considered great eyelash extensions to help users express their personalities clearly.
Hybrid wispy lash extensions are an interesting combination of two basic eyelash extension techniques, Classic and Volume. This means that when performing this type of eyelashes, technicians need to know the steps to perform each technique separately before combining them harmoniously. So, do hybrid wispy lashes really meet the needs of eyelash extension enthusiasts? Let's find out the steps and requirements of a set of wispy lash extensions, from which there is an exact answer to the above question.
What are hybrid wispy lash extensions?
While the wispy classic is a combination of lashes of different lengths to create softness and a gentle opening for the eyes, the Wispy volume is a showcase of the ability of lash fans from 2 to 6 fibers/ fan in creating thickness, helping eyelashes become impressive, sharp and attractive for the user.
Combining the two styles above, we have hybrid wispy lash
extensions, an artistic blend. Soft classic lashes are an essential foundation
to help lash fans shine with highlights and create a classy beauty. And for
this reason, hybrid wispy lashes have never been out of the list of hottest
eyelash extensions in the lash community.
How to implement hybrid wispy lash extensions?

There are many ways to perform hybrid wispy lashes, but if you are a new technician and do not have much experience, you should refer to this basic and detailed way.
There will be two layers of lashes you need to make:
The first layer of lashes – Spikes: With hybrid wispy lash
extensions, you should use the classic technique for the first layer. It is
usually 2 to 3mm longer than natural lashes, in which there will be from 1 to 2
individual lashes attached, depending on the condition of the natural lashes
and the requirements that the base layer needs.

One eye will have about 7-10 spikes. According to professional lash artists, the common length of each lash is 10mm to 20mm, thickness 0.07 to 0.10mm, and the curl will be C, CC, or D curl. And please note that these specifications will change depending on the condition of natural eyelashes and client requirements!
The second layer is lashing fans. Lash fans create this
layer from 2D to 6D, they will be placed between the spikes to fill in the gaps
of the lashes, increasing the thickness or density of the lashes. The
recommended thickness for this layer will be from 0.03 mm to 0.05 mm. The
length is also shorter than the classic (only 7 to 14 mm), and the curvature is
similar to the classic.

After completing the above two layers, you are almost done
with hybrid wispy lash extensions. However, check it out one last time to
ensure a perfect result. Another note is that this lash style has two
alternating and overlapping layers, so make sure you are using the suitable
glue and avoid excess adhesive, causing discomfort or irritation to the eyes.
Currently, there are some types of eyelash extension glue on the market that
are suitable for beginners, which is very convenient and safe. You can find them
at reputable eyelash extension brands like LLBA Professional.
How to take care of hybrid wispy lashes?

You need to know the below aftercare tips to share with your
clients!
Use the right eyelash care products. The role of specialized eyelash care products is indispensable after the treatment but avoid oil-based products.
Clean eyelashes and eyes with suitable cleaning products, and brush your eyelashes with a specialized tool to keep the eyelashes always beautiful. And another suggestion to help you satisfy clients is that you should have these products directly at your salon to introduce them.
